Gajakesari
Ravichandran is back with one of his best films. Drushya is an entertaining and engrossing thriller that will rank among one of his best films. Director P Vasu brings the Malayalam hit to Kannada before it has been remade in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. There is never a dull moment in this film and each scene is new and shows no trace of the regular kind of entertainment films.
Drishya
Preeti Geethi Ityadi

Director Pawan Wadeyar makes his enchanting debut as hero in Preeti Geethi Ityadi. Another Yograj Bhat camp man Veerendra makes his debut as director. As has become usual with the Yograj Movies banner an unusual storyline is taken. The other recent movie from this banner was Dyavre which was critically acclaimed. PGI as the name shows is not just a romance story. Though the title suggests a playfulness there is a purposeful and serious story in it.

Gajakesari is a film of epic proportions. It is no doubt one of the most extravagantly made films on Kannada screen ever. And the story, screenplay, acting and match this beautifully made film. The film compares with the best of films made in India and will no doubt make Yash a much bigger star than he is already. All appreciation should go to the director Krishna, who has made his debut as director after being known as a top cinematographer till now since his epoch creating work in Mungaaru Male. Krishna has written the story and screenplay of the film apart from directing it.
